Athletic Accomplishments
This 6 4- 260lb athletic specimen spent his sophomore season at DE for his 8W-1L-1T JV squad, before being moved to RG in their o-line during spring ball 2009. Payton was a key contributor to their run game last fall as the biggest member of the junior class at Smithson Valley H.S., earning All-District honors for his efforts on the field. Payton attended the prestigious FBU in Austin, Texas on Feb. 26-28, 2010.

At 6 4- 260lbs, Paytons 4.7/40 yd speed, coupled with his 300# bench & 530# squat strengths certainly qualifies this 2011 grad with the size, strength & speed for the next level. As a senior he averaged 3 pancakes and 2 chops blocks per game, with 75% of the rushes behind his lead. SOPH DE: 92 tackles, incl. 33 solos, 59 assists & 9 TFLs; 18 QB hurries, 2 FCs, 2 recovered, & 19 sacks in their 8W-1L-1T season.
